Hypnotherapy
Yes. Hypnosis is safe and most people report that they haven’t felt “hypnotized”, just deeply relaxed. During Therapy the brain alternates in the natural alpha and theta state, comparable to a deep restful state and meditation. Science considers it not just to be safe but also very healthful. Hypnosis is experienced differently by everyone. Overall, it’s a feeling of deep relaxation, whilst being in control and internally fully awake – usually described as internal awareness.
Results are independent from the depth of hypnosis. It works, no matter what!
Hypnotherapy provides direct access to the root cause of an issue by understanding and dialoguing with the subconscious mind.
Finding and transforming limiting beliefs at this profound level, hypnotherapy saves you a lot of time because you don’t spend long hours talking about what you consciously think might be the cause. Your subconscious mind already has the answers and this understanding enables and allows your mind to let go of limiting beliefs and to reframe/upgrade them to much more positive ones.
Since most beliefs were formed before the age of 8 while we were in a comparably hypnotic state, transforming these beliefs in this same hypnotic state creates everlasting results. It’s efficient and highly effective. Some issues take only one session to resolve whilst others require more.
Yes. Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Everybody experiences this state on a daily basis, for example just before falling asleep and right after waking up. In Hypnosis your brain alternates between Alpha and Theta Brainwaves.
The first step is understanding your different brainwave frequencies. We all have these brainwave frequencies (Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta and Gamma). Each frequency is measured in cycles per second (Hz) and has its own set of characteristics representing a specific level of brain activity and a unique state of consciousness.
Beta (14-40Hz) – The Waking Consciousness and Reasoning Wave
Alpha (7.5-14Hz) – The Deep Relaxation Wave
Theta (4-7.5Hz) – The Light Meditation And Sleeping Wave
Delta (0.5-4Hz) – The Deep Sleep Wave
Gamma (above 40Hz) – The Insight Wave
People often mistakenly think that being hypnotized means being asleep and that one can be made to do things of which they are unaware. That is false. Hypnosis takes place in the Alpha and Theta brain wave states.
It’s easy to be guided into this state. I can only hypnotize you when you allow it. You have free will.
Hypnotherapy offers easy access the subconscious mind allowing us to uncover, reprogram and upgrade limiting beliefs and find the root cause of any mental or physical issue, pattern or behavior – providing freedom, relief and healing, depending on the issue, of course.
The direct access to the subconscious mind, along with other modalities used in an RTT session, allows us to create the change you seek. You experience your transformation either instantly, cumulatively or in retrospect.
Yes. In general, Hypnotherapy enhances personal development and abilities to reach goals. Giving you insight, understanding, and new perspectives. Increasing Self-awareness – one of the key components of emotional intelligence. Reconnect to the extraordinary confidence and power you were born with.
Hypnotherapy is designed to deliver profound and lasting results in a single session. Some issues may require more attention.

In most cases regression is a great, beneficial, interesting and an essential, insightful part of Hypnotherapy. Your subconscious is brilliant and gives you exactly what is needed to gain a new understanding. Understanding in hypnosis is the most liberating, transforming power.
Everyone is different, and change is different for everyone.
Some feel extremely happy and excited, relieved, liberated and free.
Some find themselves tired and sleepy at first, but with enhanced clarity.
Some need to reflect and some time to process (usually within the first 4 days after the session).
And it is also not uncommon that some people experience additional insights that apply to the issue they worked on. They may even feel it more intensely than before. It’s all good and beneficial for lasting results.
A session usually takes between 90 minutes and 2 hours.
Yes, Hypnotherapy sessions work very well online. All you need is an internet connection and either a laptop, phone or tablet with a camera and a microphone. Yes, in some ways it does and that is the good part. Hypnosis will positively influence the person’s brain in a natural and healthy way to rewire neural pathways. Replacing outdated, non-serving beliefs and negative behavioral patterns with new, truthful, and more beneficial beliefs. Science considers it a form of neuro-plasticity – a natural process which makes it possible to change, influence and consciously create the desired reality.
So-called Alpha and Theta brain-waves occur during profound relaxation, hypnosis, deep meditation and during REM sleep. This is the brainwave-state you’ll easily enter and stay in during your session. You will feel deeply relaxed whilst being alert, and receptive. Scientists found that the alpha and theta brain wave frequencies relieve stress; facilitate deep physical relaxation and mental clarity; increase verbal ability and performance IQ; synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain; recall mental images and creative thinking and can reduce pain, promote euphoria and stimulate the release of endorphins.
Hypnosis is not about being asleep, it’s about being receptive. You are fully aware and in control, just deeply relaxed. It’s a natural brainwave state (Alpha & Theta) that’s proven to be safe and very healthful.
Cell Command Therapy is the use of direct mental commands in hypnosis to influence the body at a cellular level. Communicating with affected cells directing them to heal and restore, to promote and accelerate the regrowth of cells to their perfect, natural state. It has demonstrated effectiveness for many different illnesses and conditions.
Yes. Hypnotherapy perfectly compliments and combines with regular medical treatments and medicine. In some cases we will use a profound healing element to activate the body’s ability to release stress or even heal and restore itself. This can be achieved by connecting with your natural, innate healing ability.
Psychotherapy - ACT
Currently, ACT has been identified by the American Psychological Association as an empirically supported treatment for depression, anxiety, substance abuse, psychotic symptoms, post-traumatic stress disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders
It has been recognised that having good mental health is more than simply the absence of mental illness. Studies have demonstrated the relevance of wellbeing for mental health care. In this sense, ACT has been proven to help promote wellbeing.
People going through difficult situations, such as the loss of someone or something really important in their life, the break up of a relationship, parenting challenges, ‘burnout’ from work or studies, any stress-related event or situation can all positively benefit from learning and applying the principles of ACT.
After a therapy sitting, you must keep up the practical exercises learnt during the session. In this sense, you should continue to do mindfulness and exposure exercises, and work with personal values, among other techniques that characterise the ACT approach and methodology.
ACT is a compassionate, problem-focused treatment approach, that involves between six and twenty weekly sessions depending on the severity and complexity of your problem. However, some clients improve significantly already on the four to six session, and others might need more than twenty sessions. As treatment progresses, sessions may be spaced fortnightly or monthly and once the course of ACT is completed, clients might return for occasional sessions to keep up with their progress and prevent relapse.
All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet with camera and microphone for video calls. Additionally, please ensure you have good internet speed and to be set up in a comfortable space where you feel safe to talk freely. We will preferably use Zoom or Skype, both of which are private and secure.
The device you use for your session/s needs to be positioned in such a way that it allows all of your face and the upper part of your body to be in the camera frame during the session/s. It is also required that all notifications on the device you choose to use for the session is turned off until your session ends. Because of confidentiality, please bear in mind you have to be in a room by yourself.
